{Through the Doorway}
Whatever your reasons for opening the door; it's too late to change your mind. One footstep in was all it took and you're arrived elsewhere. Your world shutting behind you in the sound of a click. Turning around reveals that door is gone.
Vanished.
More than that, you're not alone. There are others in the same dank and dingy room as you are. Looking just as confused. Wherever you came from, the place you've ended up in looks to be a disused jail cell. Stone walls. And some kind of mold or moss that has overgrown one of the corners. The bars that separate you from a dim passageway look half rusted and that door might not even be locked.
Maybe it would be better for you if it was though. Because a small scraping sound can be heard for those lucky enough to have keen ears. Whatever is making that sound is coming closer, drawn in by the new arrivals.
Scattered through the underground cells there are skeletons, very old and left in whatever place they fell. Some carried weapons, little good it did them. Finding the exit is not a problem either, but it's locked. A key would need to be found in order for escape to be possible, and hopefully found before you met the same fate as the unfortunate souls before you.

white padlock=locked door
red padlock=trapped door

I don't have any dice, how do I roll for these things? We got you.

"Rosaline." Another thing the electric light had shown. This woman was outside of the bars that defined cell after cell of rusty jailhouse.
"I am, well, somewhat lost."
no subject
"How- how did you get out there?"
Natasha moved towards the bars, grabbing them one by one as she tried to find the door.

Rosaline wondered if this girl would need help and thought she might call out for Morgana in the vain hope that the witch would be nearby. But second thoughts led her to keeping quite, they weren't alone in this dungeon, that much Rosaline already knew.
"Test yours first, some of them are not locked."
rolled a 1, sad times, gonna treat this like an epic fail
Whether or not it was already locked however, she'll never know, because a bolt of lightning nervously sparks from her hands, and melts the keyhole and shackle into the main body.
"OH JUST GREAT." Short temper this one.
no subject
When the spark goes off again, Rosaline squeaks a bit.
"Oh, that is not good. Just wait." She thinks that she saw a pile of things in the far corner of the hallway. Always trust your luck to piles of supplies, that would be her life's motto. If she knew what a motto was.
"I have a torch here, if you can light it."
The woman brings her find over and passes it through the bars.
At least it's a step in the right direction.

Light begins to fill the cell as the flame burns bigger and bigger. She holds it out, away from her face (because really it was getting too hot), and looks down at the melted lock, then up at Rosaline. She was finally able to see her clearly.
"I'm Natasha, by the way," she says sheepishly.

A smile is offered over between the shadows and the bars.
"I guess we'll have to find another way to open that door now." Unless.. well this woman seemed to have some sort of ability. Was it magic? And just how much could she do?
Rosaline could get her way in and out of the cells with ease, but the trick up her own sleeve wouldn't do much good to help someone else.

"If only Naomi were here. She'd be able to bust through that door like it was melted butter." UGH NAOMI WHERE ARE YOU.
She stops talking for a moment, and realizes that there are other voices in the distance.
"Are there other people here?" she asks Rosaline, looking at the girl and then also trying to get a peak outside of her cell.
no subject
That would explain a good deal. Rosaline didn't have a Knight or Prince at the moment, but she had Morgana. Somewhere. It was enough to keep her from fearing this place overly so.
Answering because it's polite, but also because it might keep this woman from yelling again. "Yes, at least three others. Maybe more. There are a good many cells in this place."
yeah this girl is gonna get on your nerves, you being all reasonable people
And she was Natasha's best friend. Probably in the whole world.
"Are any of them good at getting people out of cells?" Rosaline will be welcome to cut her off at any point, but if she doesn't, Natasha will actually start yelling.
"HEY. CAN SOMEONE GET ME OUT OF HERE???"
omg she scared the squirrel out of rosaline
Of course, that is all knowledge that Rosaline would have shared, had she not been frightened into a very reflexive mindset. As soon as the yelling starts, the girl squeaks again. This time much different, and very much like the sound of a small animal.
For that is what she's turned into.
The squirrel backs away from the loud one, backs away quickly.
lol good end?
"DID YOU HONESTLY JUST TURN INTO A SQUIRREL?!?"
Once her volume was already up, getting it back down needed conscious decision making, which Natasha was not doing at the moment.
Oh my god. Was she going crazy?
perfect end XD
Rosaline was scurrying out of there as fast as her tiny legs could take her. Which was actually quite fast. Considering.
But she would try to remember to send help.
She would try.
