From a distance, it looked to be just a sort of hole in the ground in a derelict stone building long since collapsed in upon itself. Time had so overcome the dark structure that, in absolute defiance of its rank and purpose a batch of sun-warmed daisies danced in a breeze all around it. Something curiously as yellow as their tiny centers creeped up out of the hole. It paused, ducking back out of view. After a beat, it rose again, slowly revealing great white eyes that goggled wildly on either side of an exaggerated beak as the head peered this way and that. Abruptly, it rose again, revealing a tanned face within the beak, eyes squinting, checking out the landscape with great suspicion. Daisies aside, it looked all good. Brent crawled up the last few crumbling steps and promptly fell on his face, his Chicken suit squeaked like a giant dog toy. "LAND." He kissed it.
